Hey everyone! Well I just got back from vancouver last night. Went to my first day at school and got a warm welcome. They actually surprised me by making me a big poster and hanging it at the front of the office.
For those who don't know I was second after the short program. I only made one mistake in the short, I put my hand down on the 3 axel.
On the day of my long program I didn't have the greatest practice nor the greatest 6 min. warmup. But I just trusted my training and let the program happen and I ended up delivering a flawless program. For more info you can check out the globe and mail website. So I ended up overall first. Now I'm gonna head to worlds in sweden around early march. My main goal there is to get 3 men to worlds in L.A. next year since it is very difficult to limit canada to only 2 men.
Anyways I'm going to begin to get back into training tommorow and I hope you enjoyed the national championships the past week if you got the chance to watch it. Well talk to all of you very soon, take care.

Congratulations! Even though I'm such a huge Jeff Buttle fan, I was thrilled to see such a great program from you. I want to say good luck for both of you in Goteborg so that Canada can have 3 spots for LA worlds.
